Thank you for choosing the Oxfordshire Credit Union

Oxfordshire Credit Union is in the process of merging with Swan Community Bank and will shortly be part of a larger organisation. When this happens members will get all the existing benefits of Oxfordshire CU and the additional system benefits provided by Swan CB. Both organisations are not for profit savings and loans co-operatives which offer savings and loans without any fees. It is free to join and once you are a member you can take advantage of all the benefits that come along with membership.

Because of the new merger we suggest you open your new account with Swan CB straightaway by clicking on this link, Join Us ( . However, if you are employed by Oxford Bus Company, Oxford University Hospital Trust, Oxford City Council, South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse Council, Capita, Green Square, Guenther Bakeries, Response, Unipart or University College Oxford and want to benefit from our salary deduction scheme, then I’m afraid you will have to wait a little while for the benefits of being a member of Swan CB and therefore we encourage you to open an account directly with Oxfordshire Credit Union straight away and it will be converted shortly to a Swan CB account. To do this click on link below.

When you apply for membership you will be asked to provide your National Insurance number. We will carry out ID checks and so if you have a passport or driving licence to hand when applying for membership it could make the process easier.

Who can join the Oxfordshire Credit Union

Anyone who lives or works within the county of Oxfordshire can join OCU. And even if you move away from Oxfordshire you can still remain a member.
